PlexAuto does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The app connects directly from your vehicle to your own Plex Media Server using credentials you provide. Those credentials are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.
Plex Server Connection
To use PlexAuto, you provide your Plex server address and authentication token. This information is stored locally on your Android Automotive OS device and is used solely to establish a connection to your Plex server. We have no access to this information.
Data Shared with Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. PlexAuto communicates only with the Plex server you configure — no data is sent to any other external service by our app.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
PlexAuto does not include any analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that collect personal data. We do not track your usage, listening habits, or behaviour within the app.
Children's Privacy
PlexAuto is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
